Sending a sympathy card does not make my list of “Top 10 Cards I Love to Make & Send” but unfortunately sympathy cards are necessary especially to the person receiving them.
Sympathy cards are a way of showing someone that they are loved and cared for during their time of loss and grieving, but it is also a good reminder to the recipient of how much their loved one was loved by others.
So….that being said, I’m sharing a simple sympathy card today using these 2 stamp sets:
Remarkable You stamp set
Flourishing Phrases stamp set.
Remarkable You Sympathy Card
Stamp calla lily image (Remarkable You stamp set) and greeting (Flourishing Phrases stamp set) with Smokey Slate ink on 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ Whisper White cardstock. Adhere to 4″ x 5-1/4″ Tranquil Tide cardstock.
Position approximately 6″ piece of Tranquil Tide Finely Woven Ribbon near the bottom of stamped image, adhering ends to the back of Tranquil Tide layer. Tie approximately 4″ piece of ribbon around adhered piece to create “faux” knot.
Adhere to folded 11″ x 4-1/4″ Smokey Slate card base.
Color in center of lily with Watercolor Pencil (Daffodil Delight), apply small amount of Multipurpose Glue and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
Address the envelope, adhere stamp and pop in the mailbox to brighten someone’s day during their time of sadness.
Plan your own Starter Kit now: choose $125 in merchandise for only $99.

Time for the DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge, this week it is a "Product Spotlight" Challenge, featuring the new In-Colors for 2017/2018.
This week I was inspired by these 5 GORGEOUS new In-Colors…I absolutely love each of them.
I love the simple elegance of this card. It is quick and easy but the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper gives this sweet card a touch of elegance.
This paper reminds me of the fancy wallpaper patterns I would see while flipping through those gigantic wallpaper sample books, that weighed as much as a small child, to occupy myself (for what felt like hours) while my mom did her shopping.
What did I use to create this beauty? (scroll down to bottom for complete supply list and links)
